QC Status App Migration to Forge and Legacy Server Deactivation

At QC Analytics, we continuously improve our apps to align with Atlassian’s evolving platform and security requirements. As part of this commitment, we would like to inform our users about an important update regarding the QC Status for Confluence Cloud app.

Migration to Atlassian Forge

On 16 October 2025, the QC Status app was successfully migrated from the Atlassian Connect framework to the Atlassian Forge platform.

This migration was carried out in accordance with Atlassian’s latest development and security guidelines. By moving to Forge, the QC Status app benefits from:

  • Improved security and compliance
  • Enhanced performance and reliability
  • Better integration with the Atlassian Cloud ecosystem
  • Long-term platform support from Atlassian.

The new Forge-based version of the app has been available on the Atlassian Marketplace since the migration date.

Action Required for Existing Users

If you are currently using an older Connect-based version of the QC Status app, you will need to upgrade the app in your Confluence instance to the latest Forge version.

The upgrade process can be completed directly from the Atlassian Marketplace or through your Confluence administration panel.

We strongly recommend completing the upgrade as soon as possible to ensure uninterrupted functionality.

Legacy Server Maintenance and Deactivation

As part of the final phase of this transition, the legacy Connect infrastructure is being retired.

  • As of Friday, 06 March 2026, the old Connect server has been placed into maintenance mode.
  • The server will be permanently deactivated on Friday, 13 March 2026.

After the deactivation:

  • The Connect-based version of the app will stop functioning
  • Users who have not upgraded will no longer be able to use the QC Status app.

Upgrading to the Forge version before the deactivation date will ensure that the app continues to work normally in your Confluence environment.
