IASIS Technologies is a company that has operated nationally and globally since 2007. It was established by professionals with extensive experience in the field of radiology and distributes diagnostic equipment and consumables, specializing in MRI and CT. Since its establishment, IASIS Technologies has many achievements to share: a presence in Europe with offices in Romania (2011), Kosovo (2011), and Belgrade (2015); the relocation of its headquarters to Thessaloniki in 2012; and investment in a privately owned warehouse the same year. In 2013 the company opened a communications office in Cyprus while building a collaboration with Claymount Assemblies BV, and has since been the exclusive distributor of their products in Greece and Southeastern Europe. In 2014 the company began constructing its own Faraday cages and developing an innovative family of software solutions (innoPACS, innoWEB, innoVIEW, innoPUBLISH, and innoPAPERPRINT), covering most aspects of radiology diagnostic centres and clinics. In 2020 the company became the exclusive representative for flat panel detectors from Varex in Greece and Cyprus, and in 2022 the representative for Neusoft Medical CT scanners in those countries. In 2023 the new innoMEDIA software platform was developed, which obtained CE marking for medical devices. In the same year, IASIS Technologies expanded its presence in Cyprus by opening new offices and hiring more staff. Basic rules on recycling, sustainability, and environmental protection apply to all IASIS employees. The company’s story continues with ongoing development of services and products and provision of state-of-the-art equipment. In short, IASIS supports diagnostic centres, clinics, and hospitals in Greece and abroad. For more on its services and products, visit iasistech.gr.

Our collaboration with IASIS Technologies began a few years ago, after a first successful meeting and initial discussion. The work included preparation of the technical file for the innoMEDIA product to support CE marking. During the project we were glad to work with Themis Ampatzis (Marketing Manager and Product Specialist) and Nikoleta Dimitra Bena (Software Engineer). Below are some of the questions we asked them.
Q: When was your company certified to ISO 13485?
A: We were certified to ISO 13485 in 2013.
Q: What do you consider the strongest point of your team?
A: For IASIS Technologies, our strongest point is that we deliver end-to-end solutions, we have a well-organized technical team, and a very strong presence in Greece and Cyprus. In Cyprus we are probably the leading company for CT and MRI scanners—in both sales and service. Another strength is that although we are not a corporate giant, we handle substantial volume for a Greek company while keeping a small, family-business feel.
Q: What do you see as the main strength of your department?
A: For our department, there is a lot of flexibility together with a strong customer-centric philosophy. The customer always comes first. We work hard to adapt in both timing and substance to each customer’s needs—not only how and when we serve them, but also how we configure our products to match.
Q: What are your goals for the future? Is there a new feature you would like to highlight?
A: Our goals are for this software family to keep evolving, and we want to follow industry trends such as AI and deep learning. We would also like to enter new markets—for example operating rooms where we want the software to be used with minimal media, closer to direct manual use.
Q: How was your collaboration with QC Analytics? What did you gain?
A: We gained experience and knowledge—in certification, software implementation, and how we organize the team. We consider the collaboration valuable in every respect.
Q: Which parts of the project felt most successful to you?
A: Your understanding of our weaknesses and helping turn them into strengths.
Q: Any feedback on our services?
A: The feedback we can share is entirely positive.
Q: What advice would you give to new companies starting out or beginning a certification journey?
A: Take it seriously, apply the procedures in daily work, and follow them as consistently as you can.

We wish IASIS Technologies continued success as they pursue their goals.
