A few words about QC Analytics

QC Analytics, based in Thessaloniki, Greece, is a provider of consulting services for manufacturers of medical products. Our company took its first steps in the local and global market in 2019 and since then we have provided a variety of consulting services both in the Greek and English language.

Our objective is to help small and medium-sized businesses deliver medical devices to the relevant markets, as well as our continuous development.

QC Analytics has been a member of the Elevate Greece national startup point since March 2021, and has also been certified in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001:2013 since July 2022. Our company has participated in the Thessaloniki International Fair, as well as in the Wey Wey Web, a conference “for UI lovers”

A few words about IASIS Technologies

IASIS Technologies is a company that has operated on a national as well as a global level since 2007. It was established by professionals with extensive experience in the field of Radiology and it distributes diagnostic equipment and consumables, specializing in MRI and CT.

Since its establishment, IASIS Technologies has a number of achievements to present, like its presence in Europe, with offices in Romania (2011), Kosovo (2011), and Belgrade (2015), the relocation of its headquarters to Thessaloniki in 2012, and the investment in a privately-owned warehouse the same year. In 2013 the company opens a communications office in Cyprus, while achieving the collaboration with Claymount Assemblies BV, and has since been the exclusive dealer of their products in Greece and Southeastern Europe. In 2014 the company starts constructing its own Faraday cages, and developing an innovative and sophisticated family of software solutions (ie innoPACS, innoWEB, innoVIEW, innoPUBLISH, and innoPAPERPRINT), covering most of the aspects of radiology diagnostic centres and clinics.

In 2020 the company becomes the exclusive representative for Flat Panel Detectors of VAREX in Greece and Cyprus, and in 2022 the representative for the Neusoft Medical CT scanners in the aforementioned countries. In 2023 the new innoMEDIA software platform is developed, which obtains the CE mark for medical devices. In the same year, IASIS Technologies expands its rpesence in Cyprus by opening new offices and employing more staff.

It is worth pointing out that basic rules for recycling, sustainability and the protection of the environment apply to all IASIS employees. The company’s history does not stop here, of course, but continues with the continuous development of its services and products, and the provision of state-of-the-art equipment .

A few words about the products and services of IASIS Technologies

As mentioned above,IASIS Technologies has been offering sophisticated diagnostic solutions since 2019. The innoMEDIA software is an image archiving and storage system, which enables the imaging, processing, and diagnosing of examinations. QC Analytics in collaboration with IASIS Technologies

Our collaboration with IASIS Technologies started a few years ago, after a successful first meeting and our initial discussion. The collaboration included the preparation of the Technical File for the product innoMEDIA software in order to obtain the CE marking. During the project, it was a pleasure to work with Mr Themis Ampatzis (Marketing Manager and Product Specialist), and Ms Nikoleta Dimitra Bena (Software Engineer). Below you can find some questions we prepared for them.

QA: When was your company ISO 13485 certified?
ThA: We achieved the ISO 13485 certification in 2013.

QA: What do think is the strongest point of your team?
ThA: I would say that our strongest point in IASIS Technologies is the fact that we provide integrated solutions, we have a well-organized technical department, and a very strong presence both in Greece and Cyprus. Especially in Cyprus we are probably the number one company in the sector of CT and MRI scanners, as far as both their sale and service is concerned. Another strength of our company is that, although we are not a corporate giant, we have a large volume for a Greek company while maintaining elements of a small, familyrun business.

QA: And what do you think is the main strength of your department?
ThA: When it comes to our department, there is a lot of flexibility along with a strong client-centric philosophy. Our clients always come first. We try really hard to adapt in time as well as practically to the needs of each client, not only in the area of when and how we will best serve them, but also on how we can customize our products in order to do so. Also, an important aspect is that you can pick up the phone and talk to one of our people almost any time, so that they can help you resolve any problem that may arise.

QA: What are your goals for the future? Is there a new feature you are working on that you would like to tell us about?
ThA: Our goals for the future are for this software family to keep evolving, and we are certainly interested in following trends of the industry, like AI and Deep Learning. We would also like to enter new markets, such as operating rooms, where we aspire the software to be used without any media, that is, to be done by hand.

QA: What did you think of your collaboration with QC Analytics? What do you think you gained from working together?
ThA: We gained both experience and knowledge from this collaboration, in the fields of certifications, of software implementation, and organization of the department. We consider this cooperation a valuable one in all respects.

QA: Which aspects of the project were particularly successful, in your opinion?
ThA: I believe it was your understanding of our weaknesses and your turning them into strengths.

QA: Would you like to share some thoughts or feedback concerning our services?
ThA: The feedback we have to share is only positive.

QA: What advice would you give to new companies in your industry that are starting out their business activity or a certification process?
ThA: To take things seriously, try to apply these procedures in their daily life and follow them as consistently as possible.
