New feature: Enhanced Search feature is now available!
In today’s fast-paced business environment, it’s important to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and tools. One such tool is the QC Read & Understood for the Confluence Cloud app, in which we have recently added the “Enhanced Search” feature (also stated as “Enhancement”) to its functionality. In this article, we’ll take a closer look at this new feature and its benefits.
What is the Enhanced Search feature?
This feature was created to improve the user experience with the QC Read & Understood app and to make it even easier to get all the desired R&U data. With this new functionality, you get a better design of the app as well as some interesting extra features that you can see below.
What are the differences between a site without the Enhanced Search and a site with the Enhanced Search?
Restricted pages are no longer displayed unless the user has permission to view the page.
Status filtering is available and you can choose which R&U statuses you want to see.
There is an option to display the Unlicensed Users.
QC Acknowledgements feature is available. You can now add multiple users to R&U on multiple pages based on user groups and labels.
How to check Enhanced Search
It may take some time for the Enhancement feature to be activated in every space. In order for the feature to be enabled, you need to view a page from the Space as a trigger point. To check if the Enhanced Search is enabled on a space go to Space Settings → App links → QC R&U and scroll to the bottom of the page.
Overall, the Enhanced Search feature is a valuable addition to the QC Read & Understood app. It makes it easier for users to find the information they need, saves time, and makes it easier to monitor the R&U progress. This can have a positive impact on an organization’s productivity and efficiency.
When will the Enhanced Search feature be available?
The Enhanced Search feature will be publicly available from March 20, 2023, and we’ll be there to provide you with any support you may need.
